On the slopes at noon, back to the chalet in the evening – and the Winklalm in between. An integral part of Flachau mountain life for over 40 years, located directly in the Flachauwinkl ski area.

High up in the Flachauwinkl ski area, where the slopes get wider and the view sweeps far across the Salzburg mountains, stands the Winklalm. For over 40 years, it has been a place to unwind after a long day of skiing – with a Kaiserschmarren, a mulled wine, and that good feeling of being exactly where you belong.

The Winklalm is not part of Chalet Montis, but it belongs to Flachau just like the slopes themselves. If you’re staying down in the valley, you should head up there – for the food, the view, and the atmosphere that you only find in a real ski hut.
